Remotely Inc is a Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) company that was founded in the summer of 2021. Our  vision is to create a solution that helps the modern enterprise workforce to provide network security and visibility to IT Administrators. Being a thought leader in the industry, Remotely CEO Tyler Rohrer identified that there wasn't an Azure-native solution on the market so he assembled his dream team and set out to manufacture his vision.

The Remotely team is comprised of rock stars from the tech industry, ranging from Dell/EMC, HubSpot, VMWare End User IT Departments, and several agencies. The team all share the same sentiment, which is to create a world-class system that is scalable, flexible, and suits the needs of the modern IT Administrator. What We're Looking for in a Sales Development Representative

Join our pre-sales team at Remotely as a Sales Development Rep and help our enterprise customers modernize their security/compliance and embrace a Zero Trust security model.

At Remotely, a Sales Development Representative’s (SDR) role is to find and screen potential customers who can benefit from our platform. As the first line of communication with prospects, ideal SDRs have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting our sales closers up for success. You should be a quick learner with strong communication skills and can showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Every potential customer is an opportunity for you to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.

Objectives of this Role

  • Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing both warm prospects while researching new potential client opportunities

  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for next steps

  • Provide feedback and ideas to develop and enhance the company’s lead generation playbook


  • Utilize Salesforce, cold calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities

  • Identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products/services

  • Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market

  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives

  • Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Strong communication skills via phone and email

  • Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills

  • Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of sales experience

  • Prior experience as a sales development rep with a track record of achieving sales quotes


Remotely is headquartered in Portsmouth, NH and you are welcome to work in-office, remotely, or a combo of both.

Compensation is based on experience and may include variable and commission based income as well as stock and options.
